The Francophone Economic Development Fund of the Prairies provides financial support for projects that promote the francophone economy in the prairie region’s minority communities.
The call for project proposals is now closed.
The Francophone Economic Development Fund of the Prairies (FDÉFP) is a funding program managed by the three francophone economic organizations (OFVEs) in the prairie provinces : the Economic Development Council for Manitoba Bilingual Municipalities (CDEM), the Economic and Cooperative Council of Saskatchewan (CECS) and Parallèle Alberta.
The FDÉFP aims to foster and financially support francophone economic development through projects designed and implemented by Official Language Minority Communities (OLMCs) in the prairies. This program is a key lever that promotes the inclusive participation of francophone communities in the economy.
The FDÉFP is administered by Parallèle Alberta. Each OFVE acts as a financial agent in its respective province.
